A small hut on the grounds of the heiau. Apparently there are still some traditional (not too traditional, I hope!) Hawaiian cerimonies performed here. It's a little hard to convey how lonely this area is. The mile-long walk down the dirt road past derelict cars, and the complete lack of people seemed out of sync with the perfectly cut grass inside the tidy stone walls. There were definitely no tour buses here!
